Trip to Antarctica
Antarctica: A journey to the ends of the Earth Antarctica, the southernmost continent on Earth, is an extreme place. It is the coldest, driest and windiest place on Earth, with temperatures as low as -128.6°F (-89.2°C). Despite the harsh conditions, it is an incredibly beautiful and wondrous place with vast ice, towering glaciers and abundant wildlife. My Antarctic journey began in Argentina, the southernmost city in the world. There I took a boat through the notoriously treacherous Drake Passage, which separates South America from Antarctica.
